By running mapreduce or spark programming models and through support for object storage, Hadoop leverages low-cost commodity infrastructure with massive scalability to process very large datasets in parallel across distributed compute nodes.

The Solix Analyst Workbench supports access to the Solix CDP via the CDP/API and provides tools for text search, structured and ad hoc query, data preparation and data modeling.

Governance Workbench

The Solix Governance Workbench classifies data at creation and sets retention policies with legal hold to govern data throughout its lifecycle. Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) provides a data governance control framework for all enterprise data with policies to manage critical compliance controls such as GDPR, PCI and PHI. To ensure data security, the Governance Workbench discovers and classifies sensitive data and either masks or encrypts it based on policies and business rules. Role-based access control is supported for data access at the record level.
