Michael Norwood Joins Solix Technologies as Vice President of Global Channel Sales and Partner Programs

Santa Clara, CA (July 20, 2011) – Solix Technologies today announced that Michael Norwood has joined Solix as vice president of global channel sales Norwood will be responsible for driving revenue organically through the Solix partner ecosystem. He brings 20 years of leadership experience in channel sales, alliances, and business development from leading technology companies.

Norwood joins Solix from Tumbleweed Communications where he was vice president of global channel sales leading and developing the overall strategy, direction, and vision for the alliances and channels organization. Previously, Norwood was vice president overseeing business development at Savvion and Worksoft, leading the efforts with global resellers, channels, and developing partner strategy with system integrators and solution partners. He also spent many years at Mercury Interactive (acquired by HP), where he managed ERP and CRM sales for strategic partners including Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, and Siebel.

Norwood earned an MBA degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and is a graduate from the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles.
