Solix Technologies Launches Solix ExAPPS Channel Network Program, Visit Solix at Collaborate 2010: Booth # 2535

SANTA CLARA, Calif ( April 19, 2010)Solix Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise data management solutions, announced today a new Global Channel Program for the recently launched Solix ExAPPS, Industry’s first Application Retirement Appliance. The Solix ExAPPS Channel Network Program will complement the company’s existing Alliance Program of VARs, Systems Integrators and OEMs for Solix EDMS, the company’s flagship Enterprise Data Management Suite. The announcement was made today at Collaborate 2010 in Las Vegas.

Plans for the new Solix ExAPPS Global Channel Network Program include a limited set of specialized partners around the world with expertise in Application Renewals and Application Optimization or Rationalization skills as well as Regional Distributors and VARs who can service such partners as well as their own customers. The Solix ExAPPS Application Retirement appliance – pre-built, pre-configured, pre-tested with all necessary software and hardware components – makes it also a channel-friendly product ready for two-tier distribution model.

Customers with finite number of specific packaged and custom applications for retirement will find the appliance most appealing as it will allow an automated repeatable process for multiple applications. “An effective Channel Network Program will be fundamental to our success in educating customers and supporting the adoption of this new innovation, for meeting the increasing demand for Application Retirement solutions,” said Sai Gundavelli, CEO of Solix Technologies.

The Solix ExAPPS channel initiative is two-pronged, with Solix ExAPPS APM Partner Track and Solix ExAPPS Authorized Reseller Track. The first Partner track would be dedicated for Global and Regional System Integrators specializing in Application Portfolio Management (APM).

The second Partner track for authorized distributors and their VARs requires them to complete Solix Technologies sales and technical training programs and achieves certain minimum annual revenue targets.
