Solix Joins the Hortonworks Technology Partner Program

Solix Big Data Suite Provides Information Lifecycle Management on Enterprise Hadoop through Integration with the Hortonworks Data Platform

Santa Clara, CA – Oct 08, 2014 – Solix Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions, has announced that it has partnered with Hortonworks® to deliver an integrated Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solution for the Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP). The Solix Big Data Suite provides an ILM policy framework for Hadoop to manage the data lifecycle including ingestion, retention, archiving and retirement, ensuring security, compliance and control for low cost, bulk data storage on a petabyte scale.

The integration with HDP enables Solix to accelerate enterprise data management modernization with a unified platform for Enterprise Archiving, Solix Data Lake and analytics.
